What we collect and why

• Data you enter in the download form — first name, email, lesson language and, optionally, country of residence, when you request a folder of lessons. We use it to deliver the materials, send you updates and the next steps of the path, and understand where students come from. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Technical browsing data (e.g. IP address, browser type) processed by our providers to run and protect the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in delivering and securing the service.
• Measurement data (analytics/marketing) — only if you consent via the cookie banner (see Cookie Policy).

We do not collect payment data: the school is free and we handle no transactions.

Who processes data for us

• Netlify — site hosting and form collection. Transfer to the USA with adequate safeguards (Data Privacy Framework / Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Newsletter/email tool — to manage communications (the provider will be named here once activated; with adequate safeguards for any non-EU transfers).
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only if you consent to marketing cookies, to measure how our campaigns perform.

How long

We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. You can unsubscribe anytime (link in every email or by writing to borntobuild2026@gmail.com): we then remove it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise them, write to borntobuild2026@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

The service is intended for adults. If you are under 18, use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Cookie Policy

We use two kinds of cookies/technologies:

• Technical/necessary — they make the site work and remember your cookie choice. Always on, no consent required.
• Analytics/marketing (e.g. Meta Pixel) — loaded only after your consent via the banner. They help us see whether our campaigns work. If you choose "Necessary only", they are not activated.

You can change your mind anytime by clearing cookies in your browser: on your next visit the banner reappears and you can choose again.

What Born to Build is

Born to Build is a free educational path that teaches you to use artificial intelligence to build tools, content and automations. Materials are provided "as is", for personal and learning use.

No earnings promises

We don't guarantee financial results or "quick wins". What you build and the results you get depend on you.

Not professional advice

The content (including notes on legal, tax or data-protection topics) is for educational purposes and does not replace professional advice. For decisions with legal, tax or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional.

Third-party tools

Some parts of the path (Sector B) require a paid third-party AI (e.g. a plan like Claude Pro). These tools have their own terms and costs, paid directly to their providers: Born to Build is not involved and receives nothing.

Ownership

Born to Build's texts, prompts and materials remain the property of the controller; you may use them to learn and for your own projects, but not resell or redistribute them as your own. What you build is yours: no constraints, no lock-in.

Liability

We do our best to provide accurate, up-to-date materials, but we are not liable for any errors, site unavailability, or the consequences of how you use AI tools. Use them sensibly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law.
